Text Message Terms
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Biggie Auto uses text messaging to tell its mechanics about truck problems reported by delivery drivers. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) cover how that program works, what messages you can expect, and what choices you have. For how your information is handled, see our Privacy Policy. For how consent is collected and recorded, see our SMS consent and opt-in process.
By signing the SMS consent form and providing your mobile phone number, you agree to these Terms.
Program Description
This program sends work-related messages to mechanics employed by Biggie Auto. Messages are limited to:
- Truck issues reported by delivery drivers: the truck, how serious the problem is, and what was reported
This program does not send marketing or promotional messages of any kind, and it does not send messages to customers or the general public.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on how many truck problems drivers report. On a typical day a mechanic receives a few messages; when several trucks report problems at once, that number may be higher.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to every message you send and receive. Biggie Auto is not responsible for charges from your wireless carrier.
Opt In
You opt in by signing the optional SMS consent form and writing in the mobile number you want messages sent to. There is no verbal opt-in and no public sign-up form. The exact text of the form is published in our SMS consent and opt-in process.
Giving consent is optional and is not a condition of employment. Mechanics who decline, and mechanics who later opt out, still receive every truck issue by email and in the shop’s repair queue.
Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we send a single confirmation message and send no further messages to that number. You may opt back in at any time by replying START. Reply HELP at any time to receive a short message identifying us and telling you how to reach us.
You may also withdraw consent by telling your manager or by sending a written request to the address below. Withdrawing consent has no effect on your employment or standing.

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and other major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent information are used solely to deliver the messages described in this program. Biggie Auto does not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging service provider we use to deliver messages on our behalf, and only as needed to deliver those messages.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
Service Disclaimer
Messages are delivered on a best-effort basis. Biggie Auto is not responsible for messages delayed or lost because of carrier issues, device issues, or other factors outside our control. Text messages are never the only way we report a truck problem: every one also goes out by email and into the shop’s repair queue.
Changes to These Terms
When we update these Terms, the update takes effect when it is posted, and continuing to receive messages after that means you accept the revised Terms.
